Getting started
How do I generate my first clip?
Paste the address of a YouTube video on the home page and click generate. The studio opens with the options, you adjust whatever you want and send it to be processed. The first time, the account is created at that moment.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. The first video is free, with up to three clips, and we do not ask for a card.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything happens in the browser, and the processing is done on our servers.
About the clips
How many clips come out of one video?
You choose. A one-hour video yields dozens of thirty-second clips. Within your allowance there is no limit on clips per video.
How does the system pick the best moments?
It reads the transcript and scores each excerpt, looking at a strong opening, how dense the speech is, questions, numbers, contrast and whether the person is talking to the viewer. The excerpts with the highest scores become the clips.
Can I pick the excerpt myself?
You can. In the studio, under Where to take the clips from, choose Just one excerpt and set the range.
Can I prioritize a topic?
You can. There is a field for that in the studio. Write the words that matter and the excerpts that talk about them get priority.
Format and image
Which formats are there?
Vertical 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, square 1:1 and horizontal 16:9.
What is the framing that follows the face?
The crop follows whoever is speaking, instead of cutting the frame in the center and leaving the person out of the picture. There is also split screen for two people, blurred background and safe area.
Is the quality good?
The clips come out in 1080p, with no watermark, for subscribers. The free video comes out in standard quality.
Captions
Are the captions burned into the video?
Yes, burned into the image, which is how it works on Shorts, Reels and TikTok. There are twelve styles with different animations, and you choose the height, size and case before rendering.
Can I translate the captions?
You can. A video in English can come out captioned in Portuguese or Spanish.
Do files uploaded from my computer come out with captions too?
They do. The audio of the file is transcribed right here, so the clips come out with captions, a title and a pick of the best excerpts, just like the ones that come from a YouTube link. A long video takes a little longer, because the transcription happens before the cutting.
Subscription and billing
How much does it cost?
The first month costs R$ 5.99 and the following ones R$ 197 per month. It is a single plan, with everything unlocked: 8 hours of video per day, 100 hours per month, all the framings, all the captions and 1080p with no watermark. The first-month price is for anyone who has never subscribed.
How do I pay?
By credit card, with automatic renewal, through Stripe. On the statement it appears as ATENDENTE24H, the descriptor of Neo Black LTDA, the company that operates Upar.io. You cancel in one click, with no penalty.
What happens if I go over the limit?
Processing resumes the next day, or when the month turns over. Nothing extra is charged unless you ask for it.

Common problems
The video did not open
It may be private, age-restricted or offline. Check whether it opens in a private browser window. If it opens and still fails here, let us know.
The clip came out with no audio at the end
Some files have audio that is shorter than the picture. In that case we limit the clips to the stretch that has sound. If that happens, write to us with the video address.
I forgot my password
Write to contato@upar.io from your registered email and we give access back the same day.
