Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who uses Upar.io. By creating an account you agree with what is written here. If you disagree with any part of it, it is better not to use the service.

Upar.io is operated by Neo Black LTDA, registered under CNPJ number 60.760.179/0001-07. The contact for any subject is contato@upar.io.

1. What Upar.io does

Upar.io takes the address of a public YouTube video, or a file you upload, and gives back short excerpts from that video, reframed in the format you choose, with captions burned into the image and a caption text ready to publish.

The service is an automatic editing tool. It does not judge whether you have the right to use the video you submitted. That responsibility is entirely yours, and it is detailed on the copyright page.

2. Your account

You need an account to generate clips. When you create one, you declare that:

• you are at least 18 years old, or have permission from whoever is responsible for you;
• the information you provided is true;
• you will keep your password secret and are responsible for whatever happens in your account.

An account belongs to one person or company. Sharing the same account between different teams is not allowed and may lead to your access being closed.

3. Free video

Every new account processes one video without paying anything, with a limit of three clips. We do not ask for a credit card for that. This video comes out in standard quality; 1080p and further videos are part of the subscription.

The trial is one per person. Creating several accounts to repeat the trial is misuse and may result in all of them being blocked.

4. Subscription and limits

There is only one plan, monthly, with the whole product inside: all the framings, all the caption styles and 1080p with no watermark.

• 8 hours of video per day and 100 hours per month.
• Unlimited links, clips and downloads within that allowance.

There is no limit on clips per video within your allowance. What counts is the length of the material processed, not how many pieces come out of it.

When you reach the daily cap, processing resumes the next day. When you reach the monthly cap, it resumes when the cycle turns over. Nothing extra is charged unless you ask for it.

5. Payment

Billing is monthly, processed by Stripe. We never store your card number at any point. On your card statement it appears as ATENDENTE24H, which is the descriptor used by Neo Black LTDA, the company that operates Upar.io.

First month for R$ 5.99. That is the price of the first monthly payment for anyone who has never subscribed; from the second one on, the monthly price is R$ 197. The promotional price is valid once per person: anyone who was a subscriber before and comes back pays the full price from the first month.

On a credit card, renewal is automatic. When payment by PIX, the Brazilian instant payment method, becomes available, each payment unlocks 30 days of access and does not renew by itself: to continue, you have to pay again.

Renewal is automatic until you cancel. The price is the one in force at the time you subscribe; if the price changes, we warn you at least 30 days in advance and the change only applies in the following cycle.

6. Cancellation and refund

You cancel whenever you want, from your own dashboard, without talking to anyone and with no penalty. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and there is no new charge after that.

Within the first 7 days of your first subscription, you can ask for your money back in full, under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Write to contato@upar.io.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Upar.io to:

• process material you do not have the right to use;
• generate content that incites violence, hate or discrimination;
• produce sexual material involving minors, which is a crime and will be reported;
• try to get around plan limits, automate the service from outside or resell access;
• overload the infrastructure on purpose.

If we find any of these situations, we close the account without prior notice.

8. Availability

We do what we can to keep the service up, but it may be unavailable because of maintenance, third-party failure or reasons beyond our reach. We do not promise uninterrupted operation.

The generated files stay available for a limited time. Download your clips as soon as they are ready.

9. Limit of liability

Upar.io is a tool. We do not guarantee any result in audience, revenue or approval in any platform's monetization program. The numbers shown in the calculator on the site are a simulation based on values you set yourself, and they are not a promise.

Our liability, in any situation, is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Relevant changes are announced by email with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after that means you accepted them.

11. Law and jurisdiction

Brazilian law applies. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of the district of Rio de Janeiro, except for the consumer's right to choose the courts of their own domicile.
